On May 31, 2023, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology-Beckhoff Joint Laboratory successfully held the first TwinCAT 3 platform technology promotion and training event. The event aims to help universities and research institutes across the country quickly understand and master TwinCAT 3, Beckhoff's comprehensive software technology platform, and at the same time promote the reform of new engineering disciplines in universities. Product experts from Beckhoff and the team of Professor Huang Tao from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology jointly conducted a two-day systematic training for nearly 30 teachers from Harbin Institute of Technology, Hebei Engineering University and other institutions of higher learning.
